KGISL Infrastructure is seeking a Canteen Billing Executive to manage day-to-day billing activities, cash handling, and billing documentation within the company canteen. The role is suitable for freshers who are interested in administrative and billing operations. The ideal candidate should have basic accounting knowledge, good numerical ability, computer proficiency, and a willingness to work in a fast-paced canteen environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and process bills for food and beverage sales using billing software or POS systems.
- Collect cash, digital payments, and maintain accurate transaction records.
- Reconcile daily billing transactions and prepare end-of-day cash reports.
- Maintain billing registers, invoices, receipts, and other canteen-related documentation.
- Coordinate with the canteen supervisor and kitchen staff regarding menu items, pricing, and billing updates.
- Assist in tracking daily sales, stock consumption, and inventory-related records.
- Ensure proper accounting of coupons, tokens, prepaid meal cards, or employee meal records where applicable.
- Support procurement and stores teams in maintaining records of canteen supplies and consumables.
- Address customer billing queries courteously and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the billing counter and related work area.
- Follow company policies on cash handling, billing accuracy, and record maintenance.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of billing, cash handling, and accounting principles.
- Familiarity with computers and MS Office (Excel and Word).
- Ability to operate or learn POS/billing software quickly.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication skills in Tamil and basic English.
- Ability to work in shifts and handle peak-hour billing operations.

- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during meal service hours.
Pay: ₹10,020.41 - ₹25,000.00 per month
