As an AI Software Engineer for the Quality Assurance Department, you will be working on internal tool development with a focus on AI tools and automated testing. This will include designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure to improve QA's ability to detect problems, as well as collecting and using data to sharpen QA's focus on identifying customer issues before they are released. It will also involve shaping the automation framework's features and SOLIDWORKS cloud products.This position will be based in Pune, India.
Role Description & Responsibilities:
- Assist the QA department in developing AI tools to make the department more efficient. This will include using AI agents to create manual test plans for new development and to enhance test plans for existing functionality, in our effort to achieve zero released regressions.
- Develop additional AI tools to facilitate converting manual test plans (created via AI) to automated tests that can run on a constant basis.
- Enhance our current AI tools for reviewing automated test results to speed up the process of diagnosing a failure and converting it to an actionable bug.
- Identify and implement solutions (websites, tools, agents, databases, etc) to improve the department's efficiency.
- Constantly strive to improve product quality through the continuous quality improvement of the SOLIDWORKS brand in line with customers' needs & expectations. Utilize AI whenever the opportunity allows.
- Provide automated solutions for teams within the Quality Assurance department when necessary.
