About the Role
DIVA Projects is seeking a highly experienced and professionally qualified Accounts Manager to lead and oversee the financial and accounting operations of our civil construction and infrastructure projects.
The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in civil-oriented businesses, with a strong understanding of project accounting, construction finance, taxation, statutory compliance, cost control, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the complete accounts and finance function for civil and infrastructure projects.
- Oversee project-wise accounting, costing, billing, receivables, payables, and reconciliations.
- Manage contractor and subcontractor accounts, including bill verification and payment processing.
- Monitor project costs, budgets, cash flow, and financial performance.
- Handle GST, TDS, income tax, statutory compliance, audits, and related financial requirements.
- Prepare monthly MIS, financial statements, cash-flow reports, project profitability reports, and management reports.
- Review purchase invoices, work orders, vendor accounts, and project expenditure.
- Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Billing Engineers, Purchase Teams, and Senior Management.
- Establish strong financial controls and ensure accuracy and transparency across project accounts.
- Identify financial risks, cost overruns, and opportunities for improved cost control.
- Lead and supervise the accounts team and ensure timely completion of all accounting activities.
- Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management for project and business decisions.
Requirements
- Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory.
- Minimum 20+ years of overall professional experience in Accounts & Finance.
- Strong experience in civil construction, infrastructure, EPC, real estate, or related project-oriented industries.
- Excellent knowledge of project accounting, construction costing, contractor billing, taxation, and statutory compliance.
- Strong proficiency in Tally/ERP systems and advanced MS Excel.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale project accounts and financial operations.
- Strong leadership, analytical, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to independently manage the accounts and finance function and work closely with senior management.
Preferred Experience
Candidates with substantial experience in pipeline, residential, commercial, industrial, warehousing, and infrastructure projects will be highly preferred.
Salary: Competitive and commensurate with qualifications, experience, and expertise.
Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
