The Sales Coordinator supports the sales team by managing customer inquiries, preparing quotations, and ensuring smooth coordination between clients, suppliers, and internal departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quotation Preparation:
- Prepare and issue accurate quotations based on client requirements and technical specifications.
- Coordinate with suppliers/vendors to obtain pricing, lead times, and product details.
- Ensure all quotations comply with company pricing policies and margin requirements.
- Follow up on submitted quotations and maintain quotation records.
- Sales Coordination:
- Assist the sales team in handling customer inquiries and RFQs (Request for Quotations).
- Coordinate order processing from receipt to delivery.
- Track orders and update clients on status, delivery timelines, and any delays.
- Client Communication:
- Act as a point of contact for customers regarding product details, pricing, and order updates.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, ship owners, and marine service companies.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain records of sales activities, quotations, and orders.
- Prepare periodic sales reports and updates for management.
- Ensure proper documentation for marine compliance and export/import (if applicable).
- Coordination with Internal Teams:
- Work closely with procurement, logistics, and technical teams to ensure timely delivery.
- Coordinate with warehouse for stock availability and dispatch.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in any field
- 0–4 years of experience in sales coordination
- Experience in preparing quotations and handling RFQs.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
