This internship is suitable for an MBA fresher or MBA student who wants practical exposure to B2B sales, business development, client communication, and consultative selling.
The intern will help identify potential organizations, find relevant decision-makers, conduct first-level outreach, understand basic business needs, and schedule product demos or introductory meetings for the senior team.
The intern will not be responsible for closing deals or conducting full product demos. The senior team will handle detailed product discussions, demos, pricing, and final conversions.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify potential organizations across industries such as manufacturing, education, healthcare, hospitality, logistics, and other growing businesses.
- Build and maintain a structured lead database with company details, industry, location, decision-maker information, contact details, and outreach status.
- Identify relevant decision-makers such as founders, owners, HR managers, operations heads, administrators, and business heads.
- Conduct first-level outreach through phone calls, emails, LinkedIn, and WhatsApp where appropriate.
- Briefly introduce the product and understand whether the organization has relevant workforce-management needs.
- Ask basic discovery questions related to attendance, leave management, employee communication, hiring, training, task visibility, and employee engagement.
- Qualify prospects based on relevance, interest level, business need, and willingness to explore a discussion.
- Schedule product demos or introductory meetings for the senior team.
- Maintain regular follow-up with prospects and update lead status accurately.
- Share daily or weekly reports on leads researched, conversations held, qualified prospects, demos scheduled, and next steps.
Required Skills
- Good communication skills in Hindi and English.
- Confidence to speak with business owners, HR professionals, administrators, and operations leaders.
- Basic understanding of internet research, LinkedIn, email communication, Excel, and Google Sheets.
- Ability to listen carefully, ask relevant questions, and document responses clearly.
- Good follow-up discipline and attention to detail.
- Curiosity to understand business problems and customer needs.
- Willingness to learn about workforce technology, HR tech, and B2B sales.
