Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Raipur for a Rice Export Documentation professional. The role involves preparing, verifying, and maintaining all export documents for rice shipments, including invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, bills of lading, and other documents required by banks, customs, and regulatory authorities. The team member will coordinate with internal departments, freight forwarders, shipping lines, transporters, and inspection agencies to ensure accurate and timely documentation. They will track shipment status, update customers on documentation and dispatch timelines, and resolve documentation-related queries or discrepancies. The role also includes maintaining organized records, monitoring changes in export regulations, and supporting audits or compliance checks related to export documentation.
Qualifications
- Strong export operations skills, including Export and Import Export knowledge, with familiarity in end-to-end shipment processes.
- Proficiency in Export Documentation, including preparation and verification of shipping, banking, and customs documents.
- Effective Communication and Customer Service skills to coordinate with clients, logistics partners, and internal teams.
- Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to work with tight deadlines and multiple shipments.
- Basic understanding of international trade terms (Incoterms), letters of credit, and export compliance.
- Experience in rice or agro-commodity exports preferred, or prior experience in an export/import documentation role.
- Comfort with MS Office (especially Excel and Word) and email-based coordination; experience with ERP or export software is an advantage.
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business, International Trade, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
