Job Title: Senior Project Manager – Industrial Civil Construction

Job Summary
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end planning, execution, monitoring & successful completion of industrial civil construction projects. The role ensures projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget & in compliance with quality standards, contractual obligations, statutory regulations & client expectations.
Key Responsibilities :-
Project Planning & Execution
- Plan, organize & manage multiple industrial construction projects.
- Develop project schedules, resource plans & execution strategies.
- Ensure timely completion of projects within approved budgets.
- Monitor project progress & take corrective actions where necessary.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, clients, subcontractors & vendors.
- Lead site mobilization & project close-out activities.
Site Management
- Supervise Project Engineers, Site Engineers, Supervisors, QA/QC Engineers, Safety Officers & Subcontractors.
- Monitor daily site activities & ensure work is executed as per approved drawings & specifications.
- Resolve technical & execution-related issues.
- Ensure effective utilization of manpower, machinery & materials.
Budget & Cost Control
- Prepare & monitor project budgets.
- Control material wastage & optimize project costs.
- Review subcontractor bills & vendor invoices.
- Monitor project cash flow & profitability.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients during project execution.
- Attend client meetings & provide regular project updates.
- Resolve client concerns promptly & professionally.
- Maintain strong client relationships to support repeat business.
Quality Management
- Ensure compliance with approved quality standards & specifications.
- Implement QA/QC procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct regular quality inspections & audits.
- Ensure all required material & workmanship tests are completed.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure strict adherence to EHS policies & statutory regulations.
- Promote a zero-accident safety culture.
- Conduct regular safety reviews with the site team.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, environmental regulations & client safety requirements.
Documentation & Reporting
- Check weekly & monthly progress reports.
- Review project MIS, DPRs, productivity reports & cost reports.
- Maintain project documentation, approvals, drawings & records.
- Present project status to senior management.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech).
- Master's degree in Construction Management or Project Management is an added advantage.
Experience
- 12–18+ years of experience in industrial civil construction.
- Minimum 5 years in a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager role.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, manufacturing, warehouse, commercial, or industrial construction projects is preferred.
