Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Teamcenter Test Lead to lead quality assurance and testing activities for Siemens Teamcenter PLM implementations, upgrades, enhancements, migrations, and support projects. The candidate will be responsible for defining test strategies, managing testing teams, ensuring high-quality releases, and coordinating with business users, functional consultants, developers, and project stakeholders.
The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Teamcenter business processes, integration testing, test management, defect tracking, and test automation.
Key Responsibilities
Test Strategy & Planning
Define and own the end-to-end testing strategy for Teamcenter projects.
Develop test plans, test approach documents, and testing schedules.
Estimate testing efforts and allocate resources across project phases.
Manage test execution and ensure timely delivery of test milestones.
Lead offshore/onshore QA teams.
Functional Testing
Validate Teamcenter functionalities including:
Item & Item Revision Management
BOM Management
Document Management
Workflow Management
Change Management (ECR/ECO/ECN)
Classification Management
Project Management
Configuration Management
Supplier Collaboration Processes
Review business requirements and functional specifications.
Create and review detailed test scenarios and test cases.
Integration Testing
Validate Teamcenter integrations with:
SAP ERP
Oracle ERP
MES Systems
CAD Applications (NX, CATIA, Creo, SolidWorks)
Manufacturing Systems
Third-party Enterprise Applications
Lead System Integration Testing (SIT) and End-to-End Testing activities.
Data Migration Testing
Validate legacy data migration into Teamcenter.
Verify migrated:
Parts
BOMs
Documents
Change Objects
Metadata
Ensure data integrity and completeness.
Defect Management
Manage defect lifecycle using Jira, Azure DevOps, or ALM.
Conduct defect triage meetings.
Track defect closure and quality metrics.
Coordinate resolution with development teams.
User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Support business users during UAT.
Prepare UAT test scenarios and execution reports.
Facilitate sign-off and release readiness reviews.
Reporting & Governance
Prepare weekly quality dashboards.
Report test status, risks, blockers, and mitigation plans.
Present quality metrics to project and delivery leadership.

Teamcenter Expertise
Hands-on experience with Siemens Teamcenter testing.

Required Experience
8+ years of QA and Testing experience.
5+ years of Teamcenter PLM testing experience.
Experience in at least one end-to-end Teamcenter implementation project.
Experience in Teamcenter upgrades and migration testing.
Experience working in Agile and Waterfall environments.
