We are hiring a skilled Welder Cum Fabricator for rooftop solar projects. The candidate will be responsible for fabrication, welding, installation support, and structure fitting for rooftop solar systems. The role requires knowledge of MS/GI fabrication work, welding techniques, and on-site installation activities.
Key Responsibilities :
- Fabrication and welding of rooftop solar module structures.
- Cutting, drilling, grinding, and fitting of MS/GI materials.
- Installation and alignment of solar mounting structures on rooftops.
- Read fabrication drawings and execute work accordingly.
- Ensure proper quality and strength of welded joints.
- Handle tools, welding machines, grinders, and fabrication equipment safely.
- Coordinate with site engineers and installation teams.
- Ensure timely completion of fabrication and installation work.
- Follow safety standards while working at heights and on rooftops.
- Repair and maintenance of damaged structures if required.
Required Skills :
- Knowledge of Arc Welding / Gas Cutting / Fabrication
- Ability to work on rooftop and outdoor sites
- Understanding of solar structure installation preferred
- Ability to read basic fabrication drawings
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools
- Teamwork and problem-solving skills
Qualification
- ITI Welder / Fabricator preferred
- Minimum 10th / 12th Pass
- Relevant technical certification will be an advantage
Experience
- 1–5 Years in welding/fabrication work
- Experience in rooftop solar projects preferred
- Freshers with ITI certification may also apply
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
