We are looking for an experienced Tailor Master for our readymade garments unit. The candidate should have excellent knowledge of garment construction, measurements, pattern understanding, fitting, stitching supervision and quality standards. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality garment production while meeting production timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Take accurate garment measurements and ensure proper fitting.
- Understand garment patterns and construction.
- Supervise stitching and finishing work carried out by tailors.
- Check sample garments before bulk production.
- Perform fittings and recommend necessary alterations.
- Ensure garments meet company quality standards.
- Coordinate with the merchandising and production teams.
- Monitor production timelines and daily output.
- Reduce stitching defects and improve production efficiency.
- Maintain discipline, cleanliness, and proper use of sewing machines and equipment.
Requirements
- 3–8 years of experience as a Tailor Master in a readymade garment factory or export house.
- Strong knowledge of garment measurements, fitting, and alterations.
- Ability to read measurement charts and patterns.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under production deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in women's readymade garments.
- Knowledge of industrial sewing machines.
- Familiarity with garment quality standards.
Pay: ₹24,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
