About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and technically strong Chartered Accountant to join our Direct Taxation & Audit team. The candidate will be responsible for handling direct tax compliance, tax assessments, tax advisory assignments, statutory audits, tax audits, internal audits, and financial reporting matters for a diverse portfolio of clients across industries.
The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of the Income Tax Act, auditing standards, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesDirect Taxation
- Preparation and review of Income Tax Returns for companies, LLPs, firms, trusts, and individuals.
- Handling Tax Audit assignments under Section 44AB of the Income Tax Act.
- Preparation and filing of various tax reports and certifications.
- Review and computation of advance tax and self-assessment tax liabilities.
- Handling scrutiny assessments, reassessment proceedings, faceless assessments, and appeals.
- Preparation of replies to notices issued by the Income Tax Department.
- Representation before Income Tax Authorities wherever required.
- Advisory on direct tax matters including:
- TDS provisions
- Capital gains taxation
- International taxation
- Transfer pricing concepts
- Tax planning and restructuring
- MSME-related tax implications
- Monitoring amendments in tax laws and advising clients on their impact.
Audit & Assurance
- Planning and execution of:
- Statutory Audits
- Tax Audits
- Internal Audits
- Limited Reviews
- Due Diligence Assignments
- Review of financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
- Verification of books of accounts and internal control systems.
- Identification of financial, operational, and compliance risks.
- Preparation and review of audit working papers and audit documentation.
- Coordination with clients for audit requirements and closure of audit observations.
- Preparation of management reports and audit findings.
- Ensuring compliance with Standards on Auditing (SA) and professional standards issued by the ICAI.
Compliance & Reporting
- Review of financial statements, schedules, and disclosures.
- Ensuring compliance with Companies Act, Income Tax Act, and other applicable laws.
- Coordination with management and clients regarding statutory compliance matters.
- Assisting in implementation and strengthening of internal controls and processes.
Desired Candidate ProfileMandatory Requirements
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
- Strong understanding of Income Tax Act and Direct Tax provisions.
- Experience in handling Tax Audits and Statutory Audits.
- Proficiency in preparation and review of financial statements.
- Working knowledge of Tally, ERP systems, and MS Excel.
- Excellent drafting and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to assessment and appellate proceedings.
- Knowledge of Ind AS and Companies Act compliances.
- Experience in handling clients from manufacturing, trading, service, and SME sectors.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Pay: ₹75,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
