About the Role
Inland Hospital is seeking a skilled and dedicated Consultant Physician (MD Medicine) to provide comprehensive medical care for adult patients in both outpatient (OPD) and inpatient (IPD) settings. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of medical conditions while working collaboratively with specialists to ensure high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions in adult patients.
- Conduct daily OPD consultations and inpatient ward rounds.
- Evaluate, admit, and manage emergency medical cases.
- Develop evidence-based treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
- Coordinate patient care with specialists, surgeons, intensivists, and allied healthcare professionals.
- Interpret laboratory investigations, ECGs, imaging, and other diagnostic reports.
- Manage critically ill patients and stabilize emergencies before referral or ICU admission when required.
- Counsel patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, lifestyle modifications, and preventive healthcare.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in accordance with hospital policies.
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, CMEs, and departmental meetings.
- Ensure compliance with ethical, legal, and regulatory standards of medical practice.
Qualifications
- MBBS with MD/DNB in General Medicine from a recognized institution.
- Valid National Medical Commission (NMC) / State Medical Council registration.
- Relevant experience is preferred; exceptional fresh postgraduates may also apply.
Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per month
