Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor STP equipment such as pumps, blowers, motors, filters, and control panels.
- Check and maintain proper functioning of treatment processes and systems.
- Record daily operational parameters, chemical consumption, and maintenance activities.
- Conduct routine inspections of plant machinery and pipelines.
- Ensure proper dosage of treatment chemicals as per requirements.
- Monitor water quality parameters and maintain compliance with pollution control norms.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for repair and preventive maintenance activities.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety within the plant premises.
- Handle sludge disposal and other waste management activities as per guidelines.
- Attend breakdowns and troubleshoot operational issues promptly.
- Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
Qualifications & Requirements:
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or relevant field.
- Experience in operating Sewage Treatment Plants preferred.
- Basic knowledge of pumps, motors, and wastewater treatment processes.
- Ability to maintain records and reports.
- Willingness to work in shifts if required.
