About the Role
UONEX is building the discovery layer for India's physical retail, digitizing the 90% of the market that remains offline. As our Founding Growth Lead, you will be the engine behind our demand generation. This is a high-stakes, hands-on role where you will own the entire growth funnel from user acquisition to retention. You will be responsible for turning Bengaluru into our first successful demand market by leveraging trend-driven content and scrappy, on-ground experiments.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the primary demand metrics: total installs, user activation, and coupon-free repeat usage.
- Produce daily short-form content (Reels, Shorts, Stories) from concept through to filming and final editing.
- Source, negotiate, and manage creator and influencer partnerships directly to drive organic discovery.
- Design and execute fast-paced growth experiments, analyzing results rigorously to scale winners and kill losers.
- Lead on-ground activation campaigns across Bengaluru's tech parks, malls, and metro hubs.
- Collaborate directly with the founders to refine the product-market fit based on real-time user feedback.
Requirements / Must-have
- Proven track record of moving consumer metrics (installs, signups, or retention) in a previous role.
- Exceptional hands-on content creation skills; ability to shoot and edit high-performing Reels independently.
- Strong data literacy; ability to analyze funnels, interpret cohort data, and make decisions based on metrics rather than intuition.
- Deep understanding of the young Indian consumer and their fashion discovery habits on social platforms.
- Scrappy, execution-oriented mindset with a focus on outcomes over activity.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment with high ambiguity.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience in an early-stage consumer app, D2C brand, or marketplace.
- Demonstrated success in creator-led growth strategies.
- Existing on-ground network within Bengaluru's fashion, retail, or campus communities.
- Proficiency in mobile-first design and video editing tools (CapCut, Premiere Rush, etc.).
