A store keeper in a jewelry manufacturing company manages precious raw materials, casting chemicals, specialized tools, and administrative stationery. Key duties include raw material receipt, hazardous chemical storage, tool tracking, and precise stock auditing.
Key Responsibilities
Chemicals and Consumables Management and storage following safety protocol
- Expiry and Stock Tracking: Monitor shelf life of chemical agents and reorder before depletion to prevent production downtime.
Tools and Equipment issue, control and maintaining inventory
- Tool Issue Control: Issue and track specialized tools, burs, files, polishing wheels, and laser welding equipment assigned to specific benches.
- Maintenance Logs: Coordinate the return of worn-out or damaged tools and manage the inventory of spare parts for manufacturing machinery.
Stationery and Administrative Supplies to be kept as per requirement.
- Logbook Management: Maintain physical ledger books, receipt books, and voucher pads used across production departments.
Audit, Safety, and Security
- Audit and Reconciliation: Conduct daily opening and closing balance tallies of high-value stock, chemical volumes, and tool kits.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 2 to 4 years of storekeeping experience, in a jewelry manufacturing company
- Skills: Proficient in computerized inventory software or ERP systems or excel, with strong basic math skills for weighing and measuring carats/grams.
- Safety Knowledge: Basic understanding of handling industrial chemicals and hazardous material storage protocols.
Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
