Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Floor Supervisor – Service to manage the day-to-day operations of the service floor at our BigWing Honda dealership in Mysuru.
The candidate will be responsible for coordinating the service team, ensuring smooth vehicle flow, maintaining service quality, monitoring technician productivity, and ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Floor Operations
- Monitor overall service floor activities and ensure smooth workflow.
- Ensure vehicles are received, inspected, serviced and delivered on time.
- Allocate jobs to technicians based on workload and skill.
- Monitor job progress and ensure timely completion.
- Coordinate with Service Advisors, Technicians, Helpers and other departments.
- Ensure proper bay utilisation and maintain discipline on the service floor.
Team Management
- Supervise Service Technicians, Helpers and other service-floor staff.
- Conduct daily team briefings and allocate work.
- Guide and motivate the team to achieve daily and monthly targets.
- Identify training requirements and support employee development.
Quality & Customer Satisfaction
- Monitor the quality of repairs and servicing before vehicle delivery.
- Ensure vehicles are delivered in proper condition and within committed timelines.
- Assist Service Advisors in handling technical customer concerns.
- Support resolution of customer complaints and escalations.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and encourage repeat service visits.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in automobile service/workshop operations preferred.
- Experience as a Service Supervisor, Floor Supervisor, Workshop Supervisor or Senior Technician will be an advantage.
- Two-wheeler service experience preferred.
- Good technical understanding of two-wheelers.
- Strong team-handling and leadership skills.
- Good customer-handling and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple jobs and meet deadlines.
- Kannada and English communication preferred.
- Responsible, disciplined and target-oriented.
