Job Description: Site Supervisor
Location: Based in Mumbai with pan-India travel to project sites
Experience Required: Minimum 5 years in site supervision
Education: Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering
Role Overview
We are seeking experienced Site Supervisors to independently manage prefabricated construction sites from start to finish. This hands-on role requires a detail-oriented professional who can supervise labor, ensure quality standards, maintain safety protocols, and serve as the on-site representative for client interactions.
Important: This position is based out of Mumbai but requires extensive travel across India to various project sites. Candidates must be willing and able to travel pan-India and spend extended periods at remote project locations.
Key Responsibilities
Site Management
· Independently manage day-to-day operations at prefabricated construction sites
· Coordinate installation activities and ensure work progresses according to schedule
· Monitor and control site activities to meet project timelines and quality standards
· Resolve on-site issues promptly and escalate critical matters when necessary
Labor Supervision
· Supervise and direct site labor, contractors, and subcontractors
· Conduct daily briefings and assign tasks to ensure efficient workflow
· Monitor productivity and ensure optimal utilization of manpower
· Maintain discipline and professionalism among site teams
Quality & Compliance
· Ensure construction quality meets company standards and specifications
· Conduct regular inspections of completed and ongoing work
· Verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications
· Implement corrective actions for any quality deviations
Safety Management
· Enforce strict adherence to site safety protocols and regulations
· Conduct safety briefings and toolbox talks with site teams
· Identify potential hazards and implement preventive measures
· Maintain safe working environment and ensure use of proper PPE
Client Interaction
· Serve as primary on-site contact for client representatives
· Address client queries and concerns professionally
· Conduct site walkthroughs and provide project updates
· Maintain positive client relationships through effective communication
Documentation & Reporting
· Maintain accurate daily site reports and work logs
· Document material consumption, labor attendance, and progress updates
· Prepare and submit timely reports to project management team
· Manage site photographs and maintain as-built documentation
Technical Coordination
· Coordinate electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and MEP installations
· Oversee finishing works including tiling, painting, and fixtures
· Ensure proper fitout execution as per design specifications
· Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for timely material delivery
Required Qualifications
· Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering
· Minimum 5 years of experience in construction site supervision
· Must be based in Mumbai with flexibility to travel pan-India
· Comprehensive knowledge of construction processes including electrical work, tiling, HVAC systems, plumbing, and interior fitouts
· Strong understanding of site safety regulations and best practices
· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
· Excellent leadership and people management skills
· Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
· Good communication skills in Hindi and English
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience with prefabricated or modular construction is highly preferred
· Background in Light Gauge Steel (LGS) construction
· Experience managing portable or temporary building installations
· Knowledge of project management tools and software
· Familiarity with quality management systems

Pay: ₹10,065.77 - ₹50,000.00 per month
