ITI / Diploma in Plumbing / Mechanical / Civil Engineering or relevant trade preferred
Candidates with strong practical experience in plumbing and firefighting installation works will also be considered
The candidate will act as a frontline site supervisor responsible for supervising plumbing and firefighting installation works at project sites. The role involves monitoring labour teams, coordinating with subcontractors, and ensuring proper installation of water supply, drainage, sewage, and firefighting systems in accordance with drawings, quality standards, and project schedules.
The position will work closely with MEP Engineers, civil execution teams, and subcontractors to ensure smooth coordination of services during construction and finishing stages.
Supervise installation of water supply pipelines, drainage lines, sewage systems, and stormwater pipelines.
Ensure proper installation of pipes, fittings, valves, and plumbing accessories as per approved drawings.
Monitor plumbing works across assigned areas to ensure progress as per schedule.
Supervise installation of firefighting piping systems including hydrants, sprinklers, and fire risers.
Ensure correct routing and installation of sprinkler lines, hydrant lines, and firefighting equipment.
Assist engineers in preparation for pressure testing and system inspections.
Manage and supervise plumbers, pipe fitters, welders, and helpers.
Ensure proper deployment of manpower, tools, and materials for daily activities.
Maintain discipline and productivity among MEP labour teams.
Coordinate with MEP Engineers and civil execution teams for proper sequencing of PHE and firefighting works.
Ensure installation works are completed before finishing and closing of service areas.
Report execution challenges, delays, or site constraints to engineers.
Ensure installations meet required workmanship and installation standards.
Monitor proper pipe alignment, slopes, jointing, and fixing supports.
Identify defects or improper installations and inform engineers for corrective actions.
Ensure safe handling and installation of pipes, pumps, valves, and firefighting equipment.
Ensure workers follow site safety procedures and PPE requirements.
Maintain safe practices during pipe installation, welding, and testing operations.
Track availability of pipes, fittings, valves, and firefighting components at site.
Inform engineers about material shortages or additional requirements.
Provide daily updates on PHE and firefighting work progress, labour strength, and material needs.
Report site issues, safety concerns, or execution challenges to the MEP Engineer.
Practical knowledge of plumbing and firefighting installation works
Experience handling plumber and pipe fitter labour teams
Basic understanding of PHE and firefighting drawings (preferred)
Ability to manage multiple service work fronts at site
Strong labour supervision and coordination skills
Good understanding of building plumbing and firefighting systems
Ability to work in fast-paced high-rise construction environments
Practical problem-solving ability at the site level
