Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Warehouse Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our warehouse in the liquor and beverage industry. The candidate will be responsible for inventory management, stock movement, storage, dispatch, documentation, team supervision, and maintaining proper safety and compliance standards.
The ideal candidate should have strong warehouse management skills, attention to detail, and experience handling inventory in a regulated beverage, FMCG, or distribution environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Maintain accurate inventory records for liquor and beverage products.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of bottles, cartons, and other beverage products.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
- Maintain records of inward and outward stock movements.
- Coordinate with sales, logistics, procurement, and accounts teams for smooth operations.
- Supervise warehouse staff, loaders, helpers, and other personnel.
- Allocate work and monitor team productivity.
- Ensure proper stacking, labeling, and identification of products.
- Monitor batch numbers, product quantities, and stock movement.
- Ensure proper handling of damaged, expired, or rejected stock as per company procedures.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and warehouse reports.
- Maintain proper documentation for dispatches, receipts, transfers, and returns.
- Coordinate with transporters and ensure timely dispatch of orders.
- Minimize product damage, wastage, pilferage, and inventory losses.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety standards.
- Ensure compliance with applicable company policies and liquor/beverage storage regulations.
- Support audits and inspections by maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Identify operational issues and implement corrective actions in coordination with management.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of warehouse and inventory management.
- Experience handling FMCG, beverages, liquor, or distribution products preferred.
- Good understanding of stock reconciliation and inventory control.
- Knowledge of warehouse documentation and dispatch processes.
- Strong team-management and leadership skills.
- Good organizational and time-management abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer knowledge, especially MS Excel and inventory/ERP software.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Qualification
- Graduate in any discipline preferred.
- Diploma/certification in Warehouse Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field is an advantage.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in the liquor, beverage, FMCG, or distribution industry.
- Experience managing inventory and warehouse teams will be preferred.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
