Vestas Technology & Operations (VTO) is the integrated CTO and COO organization within Vestas, encompassing the full industrial value chain - from Research & Development, Procurement and Manufacturing to Supply Chain and Quality. VTO's mission is to transform the way Vestas engineers, sources, contracts, manufactures and delivers its products to consistently meet the highest standards for quality, cost efficiency and time-to-market.
Vestas Global Procurement is responsible for all procurement activities across the organization. The team leads cross-functional category teams, manages supplier negotiations and contracts, develops end-to-end cost optimization strategies, and drives category strategy and supplier relationship management.
In this role, you will play a key part in shaping Vestas' global supply chain - enabling the delivery of reliable, cost-effective, and sustainable solutions to our customers. You will collaborate across commodity and module teams worldwide, acting as the anchor point for cross-commodity topics and engaging closely with stakeholders across the entire organization.
Responsibilities
- Actively contribute within the Commodity Management Team (CMT) structure by bringing forward ideas and opportunities for continuous improvement in cost, quality, lead times, and other key performance parameters
- Support the development of commodity strategies, ensuring strategic focus, best‑in‑class supplier performance, technology innovation screening, competitive advantages, long‑term planning, and target setting
- Engage and negotiate with suppliers, maintaining updated group cost data for identified components
- Provide accurate cost inputs to support Business Case (BC) development
- Deliver key insights to Purchasing Managers on module‑specific procurement strategies
- Create and maintain supplier account plans, conduct Business Review Meetings (BRMs), and effectively manage procurement KPIs for the commodity
Qualifications
- Prior experience in procurement function, 3+ years
- Hands on experience in Identifying , Developing and Governing suppliers across the globe
- Proficient in usage of analytical tools and ERP systems
- Degree in Engineering or Supply Chain management

- Ability to work independently in complex and dynamic environments, collaborating with multiple stakeholders across diverse cultures
- Proven capability to drive the Global Procurement agenda and communicate it effectively to ensure an optimized supply chain setup
- Strong team orientation with a commitment to ensuring the successful implementation of coordinated initiatives
- A holistic and positive mindset, with the ability to see the big picture of Vestas' customer offerings and connect them to supplier capabilities, creating measurable impact on sales growth and cost‑out programs

- Effective leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to unite cross‑functional teams with strong oral and written communication skills
