The Spare Parts Manager is responsible for managing the inventory, procurement, storage, and distribution of genuine two-wheeler spare parts. The role ensures timely availability of parts for workshop operations, maintains optimum inventory levels, minimizes stock losses, and provides excellent support to technicians and customers.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management
- Maintain optimum stock levels of fast-moving, slow-moving, and critical spare parts.
- Monitor inventory turnover and reduce dead stock.
- Conduct regular stock verification and physical inventory audits.
- Ensure accurate stock records in the inventory management system.
Procurement & Ordering
- Prepare and place spare parts orders with manufacturers or authorized suppliers.
- Track pending orders and ensure timely deliveries.
- Coordinate with vendors regarding shortages, returns, and warranty claims.
- Monitor lead times and maintain reorder levels.
Workshop Support
- Ensure timely availability of spare parts for repair and maintenance jobs.
- Coordinate with service advisors and technicians for parts requirements.
- Issue spare parts against job cards accurately.
Sales & Customer Service
- Attend to retail customers for spare parts inquiries.
- Recommend genuine spare parts and accessories.
- Handle customer complaints related to spare parts professionally.
- Achieve monthly spare parts sales targets.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain invoices, stock registers, and issue records.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
- Monitor stock valuation and aging reports.
Compliance
- Ensure compliance with dealership policies and manufacturer guidelines.
- Maintain warranty parts documentation.
- Follow safety and housekeeping standards.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in spare parts management, preferably in a two-wheeler dealership or automobile service center.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
