Job Summary:
Responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of railway engine generator sets to ensure reliable power supply and safe locomotive operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of diesel engine gensets.
- Diagnose faults in engines, alternators, control panels, and protection systems.
- Conduct load testing, performance checks, and parameter monitoring.
- Repair or replace defective mechanical and electrical components.
- Maintain maintenance logs and service reports.
- Ensure compliance with railway safety and quality standards.
- Provide on-site breakdown support when required.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 1–10 years’ experience in diesel engine or genset maintenance (railway preferred).
- Knowledge of engine, alternator, AVR, and control systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and safety awareness.
Pay: ₹17,991.39 - ₹28,188.43 per month
