Job Description – Chief Financial Officer (CFO) or FINANCE CONTROLLER
Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Finance Controller to lead the financial strategy and operations of the organization. The ideal candidate should be a qualified Chartered Accountant with strong expertise in financial management, statutory compliance, taxation, corporate finance, budgeting, internal controls, and strategic decision-making. The CFO will work closely with senior management to drive sustainable growth while ensuring regulatory compliance and financial excellence.
Qualification
· Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory
· Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or related field preferred
· Additional qualifications such as CFA, MBA (Finance), or Company Secretary will be an added advantage
Experience
· Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience as a Chartered Accountant
· Experience in manufacturing, engineering, infrastructure, railway, or EPC industries will be preferred
· Experience in handling statutory audits, bank funding, taxation, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance
· Experience in Listed Company with exposure to investors relations is preferred
· Exposure to fundraising, IPO, or private equity transactions will be an added advantage
· Experience in transition from IGAAP to Ind AS preferred
Key Responsibilities
Financial Leadership
· Develop and implement the company's financial strategy aligned with business objectives.
· Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and variance analysis.
· Provide strategic financial advice to the Managing Director and Board of Directors.
· Monitor organizational profitability, liquidity, and cash flow.
Financial Reporting
· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
· Ensure compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and applicable accounting regulations.
· Present financial reports and MIS to senior management and stakeholders.
· Develop key financial dashboards and performance metrics.
Treasury & Banking
· Manage cash flow and working capital efficiently.
· Oversee banking relationships, fund management, and treasury operations.
· Lead negotiations for working capital limits, term loans, and other banking facilities.
· Optimize financing costs and capital structure.
Taxation & Compliance
· Ensure timely compliance with Income Tax, GST, TDS, Customs, and other statutory requirements.
· Supervise tax planning and assessments.
· Coordinate with statutory, internal, cost, and tax auditors.
· Ensure compliance with all applicable corporate laws and regulatory requirements.
Internal Controls & Risk Management
· Design and strengthen internal financial controls.
· Develop risk management policies and mitigation strategies.
· Ensure effective implementation of SOPs and financial governance practices.
· Identify opportunities for process automation and operational efficiency.
Corporate Finance
· Support fundraising initiatives including debt, equity, and strategic investments.
· Assist in mergers, acquisitions, due diligence, and business expansion activities.
· Evaluate investment opportunities and capital expenditure proposals.
· Liaise with investors, bankers, consultants, and financial institutions.
Team Leadership
· Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team.
· Establish performance standards and ensure continuous professional development.
· Promote a culture of accountability, integrity, and continuous improvement.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
