Role Overview
We are hiring a qualified Customs Broker (CHA exam cleared individual) to act as the authorized signatory for our company’s Customs Broker License under CBLR.
This role is both regulatory and operational. You will be responsible for enabling our license, ensuring compliance, and overseeing import/export clearance workflows.
This is a high-responsibility role with direct involvement in international trade operations across electronics, industrial equipment, and global markets.
Mandatory Requirements
- Must have cleared Customs Broker (CHA) Written + Oral Examination
- Strong understanding of Customs Act, CBLR, DGFT, ICEGATE, other systems
Key Responsibilities
License & Compliance
- Act as qualified individual for company CHA license application
- Assist in end-to-end Customs Broker License (CBLR) process
- Ensure full compliance with customs regulations and procedures
Operations Oversight
- Supervise:
- Bills of Entry
- Shipping Bills
- ICEGATE filings
- Handle customs queries, assessments, and documentation issues
- Coordinate with ports, freight forwarders, and logistics partners
Strategic Role
- Advise on:
- Duty optimization (FTA, exemptions, EPCG, etc.)
- Import/export structuring
- Reduce delays, demurrage, and compliance risks
