* Core Responsibilities
1. Sales (Primary Focus)
Sell insurance products (life, health, motor, corporate policies)
Generate leads through:
Personal network
Referrals
Cold calling / field visits
Channel partners (agents, brokers, banks)
Achieve monthly/quarterly revenue targets.
2. Client Relationship Management
Build long-term relationships with clients
Understand financial needs and suggest suitable policies
Handle renewals, upselling, and cross-selling
Be the go-to person for claims support and queries.
3. Advisory Role
Act like a financial consultant, not just a salesperson
Recommend:
Life cover (term plans)
Investment-linked plans (ULIPs)
Health insurance
Educate clients on risk protection and financial planning
4. Channel / Partner Management (if applicable)
Manage agents, brokers, or banca channels
Train and motivate them to generate business
Track their performance and pipeline
5. Documentation & Compliance
Ensure proper KYC and policy documentation
Follow IRDAI regulations and company policies
Maintain CRM records and sales reports
