We are looking to hire A Certified Sign Language Interpreter who can facilitate communication between hearing-impaired learners and content developers, ensuring that educational content is accurately translated into Indian Sign Language (ISL) and remains accessible, culturally appropriate, and learner-friendly.
Key Responsibilities Include:-
- Interpret educational content into Indian Sign Language (ISL).
- Review and validate sign language used in videos, animations, and digital learning materials.
- Support scripting and adaptation of FLN content for deaf and hard-of-hearing children.
- Collaborate with instructional designers, subject matter experts, animators, and video production teams.
- Ensure age-appropriate and conceptually accurate sign language delivery.
- Participate in video shoots and provide on-screen interpretation where required.
- Conduct quality checks for accessibility compliance.
- Assist in developing visual communication strategies for learners with hearing impairment.
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline (preferred).
- Certification in Indian Sign Language Interpretation from recognized institutions
- 3–5 years of experience in sign language interpretation.
- Experience working with deaf children in educational settings preferred.
- Prior experience in eLearning, digital content development, or inclusive education projects is desirable.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
