About the Role
We are looking for an E-commerce Research Intern who is curious, analytical, and detail-oriented.
Your primary responsibility will be identifying winning products, studying competitors, analyzing customer reviews, and uncovering opportunities that can help Dwantis launch and scale products on Flipkart and other marketplaces.
This is not a sales or customer support role. You will work directly on product research and marketplace intelligence.
ResponsibilitiesProduct Research
- Identify trending Home & Kitchen products
- Research product opportunities on Flipkart and other marketplaces
- Track emerging consumer trends
- Maintain a product opportunity database
Competitor Analysis
- Analyze top-performing listings
- Monitor competitor pricing and offers
- Study competitor images, titles, and product positioning
- Identify gaps and improvement opportunities
Customer Research
- Read and analyze customer reviews
- Identify recurring complaints and unmet needs
- Extract insights for product improvements
- Create customer pain-point reports
Marketplace Research
- Track category trends
- Monitor bestseller rankings
- Analyze demand patterns
- Study marketplace algorithms and ranking factors
Reporting
- Prepare structured research reports
- Present findings in Google Sheets and Docs
- Maintain research dashboards
- Share weekly opportunity reports
Required SkillsMust Have
- Strong analytical thinking
- Good Excel / Google Sheets skills
- Strong internet research skills
- Attention to detail
- Good written English
Good to Have
- Experience with Flipkart or Amazon
- Canva
- AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini)
- Basic understanding of e-commerce
