About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Territory Manager – Sales to drive business growth and market presence for our Electric Vehicles (EVs), Battery Operated Vehicles (BOVs), Golf Carts, and Electric Buggies. The role involves developing new business opportunities, managing the complete sales cycle, and building long-term customer relationships. This position will report directly to the National Sales Head.
Key Responsibilities Business Development
- Identify and target potential customers within the BOV, Golf Cart, and Electric Buggy market segments.
- Generate new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, referrals, and lead generation activities.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase product features and benefits.
- Understand customer requirements and provide suitable mobility solutions.
- Address customer queries and objections effectively.
Sales & Revenue Generation
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
- Drive both hunting (new business acquisition) and farming (existing account growth) activities.
- Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and contracts.
- Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and agreements with customers.
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional and corporate customers.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through regular engagement and follow-ups.
- Identify opportunities for repeat business and upselling.
Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions when required.
- Gather market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitor information.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in CRM systems.
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports and pipeline updates.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or MBA.
- 4–6 years of experience in Institutional Sales, Corporate Sales, EV Sales, Capital Equipment Sales, or related industries.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain technical product features to non-technical customers.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and adaptable to changing market conditions.
- Willingness to travel extensively for customer meetings, business development, trade shows, and industry events.
Preferred Background
- Experience in Electric Vehicles (EV), Battery Operated Vehicles (BOV), Golf Carts, Industrial Mobility Solutions, or Institutional Sales.
- Strong network within corporate, industrial, educational, hospitality, healthcare, or infrastructure sectors.
Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
