- Job Role - Fowler Operator
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fowler Operator to join our production team in the grocery/food manufacturing factory. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, calibrating, and maintaining automated post-harvest grain cleaning, sorting, and grading machinery manufactured by Fowler Westrup. Your primary goal is to ensure bulk raw ingredients meet strict quality standards before moving to the packaging stage.
Key Job Roles & Responsibilities
- Machine Operation & Setup: Efficiently configure, start, and monitor Fowler Westrup cleaning, grading, and destoning machinery according to product specifications (e.g., rice, pulses, spices, wheat).
- Quality Inspection: Regularly check output product samples to guarantee uniform shape, density, and size, ensuring zero contamination passes into final food processing layers.
- Throughput & Workflow Management: Monitor material flow from gravity separators and storage silos to prevent feeding blockages and optimize daily factory output.
- Logistics & Records: Keep detailed daily logs of material batch processed, machine settings used, and wastage quantities generated for factory inventory records.
- Safety & Sanitation Compliance: Adhere strictly to food safety guidelines, factory hazard controls, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure a safe workspace.
Job Requirements & Skills to Highlight
- Experience: 1 to 3+ years of experience operating grain cleaning lines, mill machinery, or Fowler Westrup systems in a food processing/agro-industry environment.
- Education: ITI certification, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, or a Diploma/Degree in Agriculture is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of color sorting cameras, gravity separation techniques, mechanical filters, and electronic control panels.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
