A Medical Representative acts as a link between pharmaceutical companies and healthcare professionals. Their main goal is to increase awareness and sales of the company’s medicines by building strong relationships with doctors and ensuring proper product knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit doctors, clinics, hospitals, and pharmacies regularly
- Promote and explain pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals
- Build and maintain relationships with doctors and medical staff
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Organize medical camps, meetings, and product presentations
- Provide samples and collect feedback on products
- Keep records of doctor visits, prescriptions, and sales reports
- Stay updated on new drugs, competitors, and market trends
- Ensure ethical promotion practices as per company guidelines

Educational Qualification

- 1–3 years of experience preferred for senior MR roles
