Role Overview:
The Trainee Electrical Engineer will support the engineering and production teams in electrical design, installation, testing, and maintenance activities. The role is intended to develop technical knowledge, hands-on experience, and understanding of electrical systems, manufacturing processes, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist senior engineers in electrical design, documentation, and project execution.
2. Support in preparation of electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
3. Assist in testing and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems.
4. Support production team in assembly and troubleshooting of electrical panels / equipment.
5. Maintain technical documentation, reports, and records of engineering activities.
6. Assist in quality inspections and compliance with electrical standards.
7. Participate in installation, maintenance, and servicing of electrical systems.
8. Coordinate with cross-functional teams like production, quality, procurement, and service.
9. Follow safety guidelines, electrical standards, and company policies.
10. Learn and support continuous improvement initiatives and problem-solving activities.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of electrical circuits and systems
- Understanding of electrical drawings and schematics
- Familiarity with AutoCAD / Electrical design software (preferred)
- Basic knowledge of electrical components such as relays, MCCB, MCB, contactors, transformers, etc.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Basic MS Office knowledge (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong learning attitude and teamwork skills
