Responsibilities
WordPress Development : Build and maintain WordPress websites, ensuring they are responsive, user-friendly, and optimized for performance.
Theme Customization : Customize and configure WordPress themes to meet project requirements, including design and functionality modifications.
Plugin Integration : Integrate and customize WordPress plugins to enhance website features and functionality.
Website Optimization: Perform website optimization tasks, such as improving page speed, SEO, and overall performance.
Content Management: Manage and update website content, including text, images, and multimedia elements.
Security and Maintenance: Implement security measures to protect websites from threats and vulnerabilities. Perform routine maintenance tasks, including updates and backups.
Responsive Design: Ensure websites are fully responsive and compatible with various devices and browsers.
Collaboration: Collaborate with designers, content creators, and digital marketers to implement website changes and improvements.
Client Interaction: Communicate with clients to gather project requirements, provide updates, and address any technical concerns.
Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues, bugs, and errors on WordPress websites.
Custom Development: Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins as needed to meet specific project requirements.
Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to ensure websites are error-free and meet project specifications.
Performance Analysis: Analyze website performance and user engagement metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.
Documentation: Maintain documentation for websites, including technical specifications and user guides.
Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest WordPress trends, tools, and best practices to ensure the agency's websites remain cutting-edge.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer, with a strong portfolio of WordPress projects.
- Familiarity with front-end development tools and frameworks.
- Experience with responsive web design and mobile optimization.
- Strong knowledge of WordPress themes, plugins, and customization.
- Understanding of SEO best practices and website optimization techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
