Location: Faridabad, Haryana
This is a full-time on-site role for a CTL Line Operator located in Faridabad, Haryana. The CTL Line Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining the Cut-to-Length (CTL) line machinery, ensuring the production process runs smoothly and efficiently. Daily tasks include setting up and calibrating the equipment, monitoring the production process, performing routine maintenance, and adhering to safety standards.
Job Responsibility:
Technical Skills
Knowledge of CTL Machine operation(decoiler, leveler, feeder,shear,stacker).
Ability to set coil width, thickness, and sheet length.
Understanding of CR, GP, GPSI, GI and other sheet materials.
Ability to use measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, steel rulers, and measuring tapes.
Quality Skills:
Check sheet dimensions(length, width, squareness).
Identify defects such as scratches, dents, camber, burrs, and edge damage.
Maintain quality records.
Operational Skills:
Monitor machine performance and production output.
Minimize scrap and material wastage.
Coordinate with quality, maintenance, and shift-in-charge.
Safety Skills:
Follow PPE and safety procedures.
Safely Handling of steel coils and lifting equipment.
Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures during maintenance.
Educational Qualification:
Must have Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical Field
