Admission Counsellor – Immigration & Study Abroad
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Admission Counsellor to join our immigration and study abroad consultancy. The ideal candidate will guide students through the admission process for international colleges and universities, provide accurate information about study options, and ensure a smooth application experience from initial consultation to enrollment.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students regarding study abroad opportunities based on their academic background and career goals.
- Assist students in selecting suitable universities, colleges, and courses.
- Explain admission requirements, application procedures, tuition fees, scholarships, and deadlines.
- Guide students in preparing and submitting complete application documents.
- Coordinate with partner universities and admissions teams regarding application status.
- Maintain accurate records of student inquiries, applications, and follow-ups using the CRM system.
- Conduct regular follow-up calls and emails with prospective students.
- Meet monthly admission and enrollment targets.
- Work closely with the visa and documentation team to ensure a seamless student experience.
- Stay updated on admission policies, immigration regulations, and educational programs.
- Participate in educational seminars, webinars, and promotional events.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in study abroad counseling, admissions, education consultancy, or immigration services is mandatory.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong sales, counseling, and customer service abilities.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of international education systems and admission processes.
- Understanding of student visa procedures for countries such as Canada, Australia, the UK, the USA, New Zealand, or Europe.
- Strong problem-solving and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to multitask and handle multiple student applications simultaneously.
