Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled WordPress Developer with at least 2 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing and customizing WordPress websites, themes, and plugins, along with strong knowledge of WooCommerce, website optimization, and responsive web development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins based on project requirements.
- Build and manage WooCommerce websites, including product setup, payment gateway integration, and checkout customization.
- Convert Figma, PSD, or Adobe XD designs into responsive, pixel-perfect WordPress websites.
- Ensure websites are mobile-friendly, cross-browser compatible, and deliver an excellent user experience.
- Optimize website speed, Core Web Vitals, performance, and implement SEO best practices.
- Implement website security measures, perform regular updates, backups, and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Integrate third-party APIs, plugins, CRM systems, and payment gateways when required.
- Debug, test, and resolve website bugs, compatibility issues, and functionality issues.
- Write clean, reusable, well-documented, and maintainable code following WordPress coding standards.
- Collaborate with designers, SEO specialists, project managers, and developers to deliver projects on time.
- Perform regular website maintenance, monitor website performance, and ensure smooth functionality.
- Stay updated with the latest WordPress, WooCommerce, and web development trends and recommend improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in WordPress development.
- Strong knowledge of WordPress, WooCommerce, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.
- Experience in custom WordPress theme and plugin development.
- Knowledge of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Understanding of website performance optimization, security, and SEO best practices.
- Experience with website migration, deployment, and hosting environments.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Good communication and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with page builders such as Elementor or Gutenberg.
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
- Knowledge of cPanel, FTP, and website deployment processes.
