Job Summary
Chandan Tech Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a skilled Piping Design Engineer with 2–6 years of experience in industrial plant design using AVEVA E3D. The candidate will be responsible for developing 3D piping models, preparing engineering drawings, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality project outputs.
Key Responsibilities
· DEVELOP 3D piping models using AVEVA E3D / PDMS.
· PREPARE piping layouts, equipment layouts, and routing studies.
· Generate General Arrangement (GA) drawings and piping isometrics.
· Interpret P&IDs and implement design requirements in the 3D model.
· Coordinate with Process, Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Electrical, and Instrumentation teams.
· Perform clash checks and assist in resolving design issues.
· Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
· Update models and drawings based on engineering revisions and client comments.
· Support project teams in meeting design schedules and deliverable milestones.
Required Skills
PROFICIENCY in AVEVA E3D / PDMS.
· GOOD understanding of piping design fundamentals and plant engineering.
· EXPERIENCE in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical, Refinery, Power, Water Treatment, or Industrial Projects.
· Ability to read and understand P&IDs, Equipment Layouts, and Engineering Drawings.
· Familiarity with piping components, supports, valves, and fittings.
· Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills
· Exposure to EPC projects.
· Knowledge of Navisworks and model review processes.
· Experience working in multidisciplinary engineering environments.
