Summary:
Own the administration and operational health of the Flexera platform (Flexera One / FlexNet Manager Suite), ensuring complete inventory collection, stable integrations, and accurate recognition/normalization to support license compliance and optimization.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Manage multiple inventory sources feeding Flexera (on-prem and cloud) and ensure stable schedules and successful imports.
Administer Flexera Beacon(s): install/configure, monitor, upgrade, troubleshoot jobs, and manage certificates/service accounts.
Flexera Agent operations: deploy, upgrade, configure policies, and troubleshoot collection issues to maintain endpoint/server coverage.
Manage integrations with enterprise systems (e.g., directory services, endpoint management, cloud platforms, ITSM/procurement) resolve failures and data mismatches.
Configure and run Business Adapters validate mappings/transformations and remediate import exceptions.
Database support: validate data in key Flexera tables/views, support governed data quality activities, and assist reporting/analytics needs.
User administration: create/manage users, roles, and permissions (RBAC) and perform periodic access reviews.
Configure application recognition and normalization (ARL and custom rules) to reduce unknown/unnormalized software and fix exceptions.
Configure and administer SaaS applications/connectors reconcile users and validate usage/subscription data.
Validate hardware inventory accuracy and ensure inventory completeness (freshness, required attributes, duplicates, normalization).
Perform daily health checks across Flexera application components and servers proactively identify, log, and resolve issues.
Execute platform changes and upgrades using change management maintain SOPs/runbooks and knowledge articles for operational continuity.
Operational Controls and Governance
Monitor Beacon jobs, agent check-ins, inventory imports, and scheduled tasks raise alerts for failures and delays.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Configuration Management.
- Strong understanding of version control systems and deployment processes.
- Experience with automation tools for configuration management.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and services.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve application issues effectively.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Configuration Management.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
