The ICU Resident Medical Officer (RMO) is responsible for providing round-the-clock clinical management of critically ill patients admitted to the Intensive Care Unit.
Qualification
MBBS with DMC Delhi Medical Council registration as a mandate.
Experience : 7-9 years of Intensive care unit experience in a hospital.
Key Responsibilities
Critical Care Management
- Evaluate, assess, and manage critically ill patients admitted to ICU.
- Monitor ventilated and non-ventilated patients, including those on invasive and non-invasive respiratory support.
- Interpret ABG reports, ECGs, X-rays, laboratory investigations, and bedside monitoring parameters.
- Manage patients requiring vasopressor support, sedation, analgesia, and continuous infusions.
- Ensure timely escalation of clinical deterioration to Consultants and Intensivists.
- Participate in ICU rounds and implement treatment plans effectively
- Maintain complete and accurate clinical documentation.
- Ensure timely entry of treatment orders, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
- Adhere to NABH, infection control, and patient safety protocols.
- Participate in audits, mortality reviews, and quality improvement initiatives.
Emergency & Code Management
- Lead initial management during medical emergencies and Code Blue situations.
- Perform advanced life support interventions as per ACLS guidelines.
- Stabilize critically ill patients before transfer or specialist intervention.
- Ensure rapid response to cardiac, respiratory, neurological, and trauma emergencies.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain complete and accurate clinical documentation.
Team Collaboration
- Coordinate effectively with Consultants, Nursing Staff, Respiratory Therapists, and other departments.
- Mentor junior RMOs and nursing teams in clinical protocols and emergency response.
- Facilitate smooth patient handovers during shift change.
Pay: ₹110,000.00 - ₹135,000.00 per month
