Position Overview:
We are looking for a disciplined, detail-oriented Graphic Designer who can also function as a Creative Assistant. This role supports our Client’s U.S.based Creative Director and works daily on product packaging, artwork updates, and image editing.
This is not a casual design role. Work must be production-ready, accurate, and fast.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Packaging & Artwork Development
- Create and update product packaging (color boxes, inserts, labels)
- Work from dielines and ensure exact dimensions and print accuracy
- Apply brand guidelines across multiple product lines
- Prepare print-ready files for factory production (AI, PDF, outlined fonts, correctcolor modes)
2. Image Editing & Post-Production
- Remove backgrounds from product images cleanly and professionally
- Retouch product photos (lighting, reflections, color correction)
- Prepare images for Amazon, Walmart, and eCommerce listings
- Maintain consistency across product catalogs
3. Creative Support
- Take direction from U.S. Creative Director and execute without constant back-
- and-forth
- Organize and maintain artwork files (Google Drive or similar systems)
- Make quick revisions with accuracy and speed
- Assist in creating basic marketing materials when needed
4. AI-Assisted Instagram Reels Creation
- Create short-form product reels using AI tools (no on-camera work required)
- Use tools like CapCut, Canva, and similar platforms
- Convert product images and clips into engaging reels (15–30 seconds)
- Add captions, transitions, music, and basic storytelling
- Follow clear structure: hook → product → benefit → close
- Repurpose existing content into multiple variations
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop
- Strong experience with packaging design and dielines
- Clean and precise background removal skills
- Basic video editing and reel creation ability
- Understanding of print production (CMYK, bleed, resolution)
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience creating Instagram reels for products
- Familiarity with eCommerce content (Amazon, Walmart)
- Basic knowledge of Adobe InDesign
- Experience working with overseas factories
Additional Requirements:
- Based in Mangalore, or willing to relocate upon appointment.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Must overlap 2 - 4 hours with U.S. working hours daily
