Located in Sitapura, Jaipur, Koelle operates across three factories spanning a workspace of approximately 1 lakh sq.ft. With 700 stitching machines, the company boasts a daily production capacity of 7,000 units. Role Description
The Senior Merchandiser will oversee the end-to-end merchandising process, including product development, sampling, production coordination, and timely delivery. This full-time, on-site role requires collaboration with design teams, clients, and factories to ensure alignment with brand standards and customer expectations. Based in Jaipur, the Senior Merchandiser will also analyze market trends, manage client relationships, and ensure adherence to quality standards throughout the production lifecycle.
We are seeking an experienced Merchandiser with strong exposure to the Reliance Buyer Portal and end-to-end merchandising operations, capable of driving business growth and ensuring timely execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Buyer & Design Coordination
- Handle buyer communication and ensure all necessary clarifications are obtained well in time.
- Work closely with the design team to introduce new products and ranges aligned with prospective buyer requirements.
- Ensure timely completion of all customer developments with support from designers.
- Develop and present new seasonal ranges as per buyer expectations.
Costing & Negotiation
- Prepare, finalize, and negotiate cost sheets with buyers within markup brackets advised by management.
- Ensure all negotiations are closed within defined timelines and order sheets are received promptly from buyers.
- Create internal product cost target sheets post order booking in coordination with Cutting Manager, Pattern Master, Fabric In-charge, Embroidery Master, and Industrial Engineer.
Production & Execution
- Coordinate day-to-day activities with the production team to ensure smooth execution.
- Ensure all PCDs committed to PPC are strictly met.
- Identify and resolve process bottlenecks proactively to ensure faster and efficient delivery.
Fabric, Trims & Vendor Management
- Source fabrics and trims from multiple vendors to achieve optimum cost efficiency.
- Place fabric and trim orders and ensure timely follow-ups.
- Conduct market research during order closure to achieve lowest possible cost targets.
- Manage vendor expectations and resolve issues to secure best-in-class costing and delivery commitments.
ERP, TNA & Process Management
- Ensure all ERP entries are completed within 24–48 hours of order receipt after verifying cut plan consumptions.
- Ensure trim entries are completed within 4 days of order receipt.
- Prepare detailed Sampling & Production TNA at order closure, covering the complete process till dispatch.
Performance & Business Growth
- Manage and continuously improve performance across all merchandising functions including development, costing, and pre-production.
- Key KRA: Growth in business through efficient execution, cost control, and buyer satisfaction.
Mandatory Coordination
- Regular coordination meetings with Pattern Master, QAM, GM, Factory Manager, and Merchant as per defined schedules.
- Requirements:Proven experience as a Merchandiser in garment manufacturing.
- Mandatory hands-on experience with Reliance Buyer Portal.
- Strong knowledge of costing, vendor management, production coordination, and ERP systems.
- Good design sensibility and ability to work closely with design teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills.

Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills, with an ability to liaise effectively with clients and cross-functional teams
- Excellent Customer Service and Relationship Management abilities to maintain and grow client satisfaction
- Experience in Sales, Retail, or Marketing, with an understanding of consumer needs and market trends
- Proven ability to manage timelines, prioritize tasks, and work across multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in merchandising processes, from product development to final delivery
- Experience in the garment manufacturing industry is highly desirable
- Degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or a related field is preferred
