Senior DevOps EngineerJob Overview
The Senior DevOps Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, automating, and supporting cloud infrastructure, application environments, and DevOps platforms with a primary focus on Microsoft Azure. This role works closely with development teams, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and highly available solutions while driving automation, containerization, AI platform operations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Roles and ResponsibilitiesCloud Infrastructure & Platform Management
- Design, deploy, and manage Azure-based infrastructure and services.
- Configure and maintain networking, virtual machines, storage, security, and identity services.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and cloud governance best practices.
Server & Application Management
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and DNS.
- Deploy, configure, administer, and troubleshoot Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) hosted web applications.
- Manage IIS websites, application pools, SSL certificates, URL rewrites, authentication, and application deployments.
- Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot web servers, application servers, and supporting services.
- Perform performance tuning, patching, upgrades, and maintenance of application hosting environments.
AKS & Container Platform Management
- Design, deploy, and maintain Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters.
- Create, manage, secure, and optimize container images and Azure Container Registry (ACR) repositories.
- Manage image versioning, patching, vulnerability remediation, and deployment processes.
- Configure Kubernetes networking, scaling, monitoring, upgrades, and disaster recovery.
- Support containerized application deployments through automated CI/CD pipelines.
Azure AI Foundry Administration
- Create, configure, and manage Azure AI Foundry environments and services.
- Deploy and manage AI models, agents, prompt flows, endpoints, and related AI resources.
- Perform model evaluation, monitoring, optimization, governance, and lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with development teams to operationalize AI solutions in enterprise environments.
DevOps & Automation
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, application deployment, and operational processes.
- Implement DevSecOps practices, security scanning, and compliance controls.
Monitoring & Support
- Monitor infrastructure, applications, AKS clusters, and AI services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud, application, database, networking, and performance issues.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement continuous improvement activities.
Documentation & Collaboration
- Maintain architecture diagrams, deployment standards, operational runbooks, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with development, security, architecture, and business teams to deliver reliable solutions.
Knowledge and Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure services and cloud architecture.
- Hands-on experience with AKS, Kubernetes, Docker, Azure Container Registry (ACR), and container lifecycle management.
- Experience administering and troubleshooting IIS-hosted web applications, including website configuration, application pools, SSL certificates, and deployment processes.
- Experience with Azure AI Foundry, including model deployment, agent management, evaluation, and governance.
- Proficiency with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM).
- Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, networking, and security best practices.
- Familiarity with databases, monitoring tools, and cloud-native architectures.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Azure, Kubernetes, DevOps, or AI-related certifications are preferred.
Pay: Up to ₹100,000.00 per month
