About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and technically skilled Stereo Recording & Mixing Engineer to join our growing audio production team. The ideal candidate will have a strong ear for detail, professional recording and mixing experience, and a commitment to producing broadcast-quality audio for music, films, educational content, and devotional productions.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on diverse creative projects ranging from cinematic film scores and music albums to podcasts, live performances, educational courses, and multimedia productions.
Key Responsibilities
- Record vocals, acoustic instruments, electric instruments, and ensembles in a professional studio environment.
- Perform high-quality stereo mixing for music, film, dialogue, podcasts, and multimedia content.
- Edit, clean, and enhance recorded audio using industry-standard software.
- Apply EQ, compression, reverb, delay, automation, and other processing techniques to achieve polished mixes.
- Maintain proper gain staging, session organization, and audio file management.
- Collaborate closely with composers, producers, musicians, directors, and video editors.
- Prepare final stereo masters for streaming platforms, film releases, television, radio, and digital distribution.
- Set up and maintain microphones, recording equipment, studio hardware, and monitoring systems.
- Troubleshoot recording and technical issues during studio sessions.
- Ensure all projects meet professional audio quality standards and deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree, Diploma, or equivalent professional experience in Audio Engineering, Sound Recording, Music Production, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in professional recording and stereo mixing.
- Strong understanding of acoustics, microphone techniques, signal flow, and studio operations.
- Excellent critical listening and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a creative environment.
- Strong communication and organizational abilities.
Technical Skills
Applicants should have experience with one or more of the following:
- Pro Tools
- Logic Pro
- Cubase
- Reaper
- Studio One
- Adobe Audition
Knowledge of:
- Audio restoration
- Vocal tuning
- Stereo mastering
- Session management
- Analog and digital recording workflows
Experience with professional audio interfaces, microphones, studio monitors, preamps, and outboard gear is highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience mixing orchestral, cinematic, acoustic, or devotional music.
- Understanding of film audio post-production workflows.
- Familiarity with Dolby Atmos or immersive audio is a plus (not mandatory).
- Musical background or experience working with live musicians.
- Passion for creative storytelling through sound.
