As we continue to expand, we're looking for an IT Executive to ensure seamless technology operations across our Mumbai office.
Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented IT Executive to manage day-to-day IT operations, provide technical support, maintain IT infrastructure, and ensure smooth functioning of hardware, software, networks, and IT assets. The ideal candidate should possess strong troubleshooting skills, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to independently manage office IT requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesNetwork & Infrastructure Management
- Maintain and monitor LAN, Wi-Fi, internet connectivity, firewalls, switches, and network devices.
- Ensure high availability and optimal performance of office networks.
- Coordinate with Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and vendors for connectivity-related issues.
- Troubleshoot network outages and minimize downtime.
Hardware & Software Support
- Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, and operating systems.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Manage software installations, updates, licensing, and patch management.
- Support Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, and standard business applications.
IT Asset Management
- Maintain accurate inventory of laptops, desktops, accessories, rented devices, and other IT assets.
- Ensure proper asset allocation, documentation, tagging, and periodic audits.
- Manage IT asset issuance and recovery during employee onboarding, transfers, and exits.
Information Security & Backup
- Monitor endpoint security, antivirus protection, and user access controls.
- Ensure regular data backups and verify backup integrity.
- Support compliance with internal IT security policies and best practices.
- Identify potential security risks and recommend preventive measures.
System Monitoring & IT Operations
- Monitor overall system performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Maintain IT documentation, SOPs, and operational records.
- Generate periodic reports related to IT assets, support tickets, and system health.
Employee IT Support
- Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, email, VPN, and connectivity issues.
- Configure laptops, email accounts, printers, and required applications for new employees.
- Ensure completion of IT onboarding and offboarding checklists.
- Deliver prompt and professional user support while maintaining high service standards.
Vendor Management & Procurement
- Coordinate with vendors for procurement, repairs, Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs), warranties, and renewals.
- Obtain and compare quotations for IT purchases.
- Track vendor deliverables and ensure timely completion of services.
Project Support
- Assist in implementing IT infrastructure improvements and technology projects.
- Support office expansion, system upgrades, migrations, and process automation initiatives.
- Maintain project documentation and implementation status updates.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft 365.
- Understanding of LAN, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, routers, switches, and network troubleshooting.
- Experience with hardware diagnostics, system imaging, and software deployment.
- Familiarity with antivirus, endpoint security, backup solutions, and basic cybersecurity practices.
- Knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), or Google Workspace is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms, VPNs, and remote desktop tools.
- Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA, Microsoft, or similar will be an added advantage.
- Prior experience supporting 100+ users or working in a fast-paced corporate or agency environment is preferred.
