Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and passionate 3D Modeler – Architecture to join our creative team. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in architectural 3D modelling and visualization, with the ability to create accurate and realistic architectural assets from CAD drawings, sketches, and reference images. This role is ideal for candidates at the beginning of their professional career who are eager to learn, adapt to new technologies, and collaborate with designers and production teams to deliver high-quality outputs.
Key Responsibilities
- Create accurate 3D models of residential, commercial, and interior architectural projects from CAD drawings, floor plans, elevations, and reference images.
- Develop detailed architectural assets, including buildings, interiors, furniture, fixtures, and landscape elements.
- Prepare 3D models for rendering by applying proper UV mapping, materials, and basic texturing.
- Assist in producing high-quality architectural visualizations and walkthroughs.
- Maintain organized project files and adhere to company modelling standards and naming conventions.
- Collaborate closely with architects, designers, and senior 3D artists to ensure project accuracy and timely delivery.
- Optimize models for rendering while maintaining quality and performance.
- Stay updated with the latest architectural visualization techniques, modelling workflows, and industry trends.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, Animation, Multimedia, or an equivalent qualification.
- 0–2 years of experience in architectural 3D modelling. Freshers with a strong portfolio are encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency in Autodesk 3ds Max with a solid understanding of architectural modelling workflows.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD for interpreting architectural drawings.
- Basic understanding of V-Ray or Corona Renderer for architectural visualization.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop for post-production and texture editing.
- Familiarity with SketchUp, Blender, or Revit will be an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of architectural drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections, scale, and construction details.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- A strong portfolio showcasing architectural modelling and visualization projects is mandatory.
