Role Summary:
We are seeking a high-impact Zonal Sales Manager to lead our expansion across North India. Based out of our New Delhi office, you will be the architect of our regional retail and dealer distribution strategy. Your primary mandate will be to recruit and lead a high-performing team of field sales executives, rapidly expand our dealer and sub-dealer network, and optimize territory coverage leveraging your deep geographical knowledge of the region. You will drive market penetration for the Sara+Care consumer product line and ensure disciplined execution of sales processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dealer & Distributor Expansion: Aggressively identify, pitch, and appoint new dealers, sub-dealers, and stockists across untapped districts and tier-2/tier-3 cities in North India to ensure widespread product availability.
- Territory Mapping & Strategy: Leverage deep geographical knowledge of North Indian states (such as Delhi NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, and Rajasthan) to map out high-potential territories, optimize route planning, and deploy your field team efficiently.
- Team Building & Leadership: Recruit, onboard, and mentor a team of Area Sales Executives. Establish clear performance metrics, conduct regular field training, and foster a culture of accountability and high achievement.
- Retail & Institutional Networking: Build strategic partnerships alongside your dealers, targeting major independent pharmacy networks, surgical supply hubs, and local healthcare clinics to push key categories like Nebulizers, BP Monitors, and Digital Thermometers.
- Process & CRM Adoption: Champion the adoption of our customer relationship management (CRM) system within the team. Ensure all field activities, pipeline updates, and dealer onboarding metrics are rigorously logged to maintain clean, actionable data.
- Data-Driven Execution: Analyze category-wise and zone-wise sales data to identify growth opportunities, manage dealer ROI, and present performance visualizations to senior management.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 5–8 years of progressive sales experience in medical devices, healthcare retail, or FMCG, with at least 2–3 years in a team leadership role.
- Deep geographical and topographical understanding of the North Indian market, including key healthcare distribution hubs, major transport routes, and local market dynamics.
- Proven track record of successfully appointing dealers and scaling field sales teams from the ground up.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex sales data and translate it into actionable field strategies.
- Highly proficient in utilizing CRM software and data visualization tools for pipeline and territory management.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and strategic planning abilities.
