Billing Engineer | Civil Engineer | Real Estate | QS Billing | Contractor Billing | IPC | BOQJob Description
We are hiring a Billing Engineer for a leading real estate developer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for contractor billing, client billing, quantity verification, RA bills, IPC certification, BOQ management, and cost monitoring for residential and commercial construction projects. The role requires strong technical knowledge, billing expertise, and coordination with project, site, and finance teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, verify, and process RA Bills, Contractor Bills, Client Bills, and IPC (Interim Payment Certificates).
- Verify quantities as per drawings, BOQ, and site measurements.
- Prepare measurement sheets (MB), quantity take-offs, and billing documentation.
- Review work executed at site and certify bills based on progress.
- Coordinate with contractors, project managers, QS, consultants, and finance teams.
- Maintain billing records, work orders, purchase orders, and payment tracking.
- Perform rate analysis, variation orders, extra item billing, and reconciliation.
- Monitor project costs, budget utilization, and billing progress.
- Ensure billing complies with contract terms, BOQ, and project specifications.
- Support cost control, estimation, and project documentation.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of BOQ, Quantity Surveying, Billing Engineering, Cost Control, Rate Analysis, Quantity Take-Off, MB Preparation, IPC, RA Bills, Contractor Billing, Client Billing, WIP, Project Billing, Billing Reconciliation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and billing documentation.
- Good understanding of construction drawings and execution.
- Excellent analytical, coordination, and communication skills.
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and meet project deadlines.
Qualification
- B.Tech/B.E./Diploma in Civil Engineering.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in real estate, residential, commercial, high-rise, or infrastructure projects.
