Job Summary:
We are looking an experienced and proactive Assistant Manager - HR & Compliance to oversee and ensure adherence to all statutory, labor law and HR compliance requirements across the organization. The role is responsible for managing payroll compliance, employee records, audits, policy implementation and regulatory reporting while ensuring compliance with applicable employment laws and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day HR operations, employee records, onboarding, confirmation, transfers, and exit formalities.
- Handle monthly payroll processing, including attendance, leaves, incentives, deductions, and salary revisions.
- Ensure accurate and timely attendance and leave management across all branches.
- Manage Full & Final settlements and other payroll-related activities.
- Ensure compliance with PF, ESIC, PT, TDS, Gratuity, Bonus, and applicable labour laws.
- Address employee queries and coordinate with branches and other departments for HR-related matters.
- Conduct periodic compliance audits and coordinate with internal and external auditors.
- Ensure timely filing and submission of statutory returns and reports.
- Develop, review, and implement HR policies and procedures in line with legal and organizational requirements.
- Liaise with government authorities, consultants and regulatory bodies for compliance-related matters.
- Monitor changes in labor laws and recommend necessary updates to company policies and practices.
- Guide HR and departmental teams on compliance requirements and best practices.
- Generate MIS reports and compliance dashboards for management review.
Requirements:
- MBA in Human Resources or a related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in HR compliance, payroll and statutory regulations.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, PF, ESI, PT, TDS, Gratuity, Shops & Establishment Act, and other statutory compliances.
- Experience in handling audits, inspections and regulatory reporting.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, HRMS, payroll software and compliance management systems.
- Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and leadership abilities.
- High level of integrity, accuracy and confidentiality.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
