Key Responsibilities
- Equipment Operation: Safely and efficiently operate stand-up reach trucks, forklifts, and pallet jacks to maneuver racks, containers, and pallets.
- Material Movement: Move, locate, relocate, load, unload, and stack raw materials or finished goods in designated warehouse areas.
- Safety & Inspections: Perform routine daily pre-shift inspections on equipment (battery, forks, tires, brakes, hydraulics) and report any defects. Comply with all workplace safety rules and PPE standards.
- Inventory & Paperwork: Ensure products are correctly labeled, undamaged, and neatly stacked; accurately complete logs or basic inventory paperwork.
- Housekeeping: Keep the vehicle and surrounding work areas clean, clear of debris, scrap, and empty pallets.
Job Requirements & Eligibility (Typical Openings)
- Age Limit: Generally below 30 years (e.g., 18–30).
- Qualification: Minimum 10th Pass / SSLC (some postings accept below SSLC if practical experience is present). [1, 2]
- Experience: Ranging from freshers (0–1 year with training provided) up to 4 years of prior warehouse or forklift experience. A valid driving license (such as an LMV license) is sometimes preferred. [1, 2]
- Salary & Compensation: Often ranges around ₹23,000 to ₹28,000 CTC per month depending on the specific plant location and experience. [1, 2]
