Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager – Operations & Project Delivery to lead the day-to-day execution of consultancy projects. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience managing operations within a civil engineering consultancy and possess a strong understanding of multidisciplinary project delivery, client coordination, resource planning, quality management, and project execution.
This position is responsible for ensuring that all consultancy assignments are delivered efficiently, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Delivery
- Lead the execution of multiple consultancy projects simultaneously.
- Oversee DPRs, Detailed Engineering, PMC, Tender Documentation, Design Consultancy, and Technical Advisory assignments.
- Develop project execution plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of all deliverables.
- Identify project risks and implement corrective actions.
Operations Management
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including Civil, Structural, Water Supply, Sewerage, Environmental, Architecture, MEP, Quantity Surveying, and CAD/BIM.
- Ensure effective utilisation of manpower and technical resources.
- Standardise project workflows and implement operational best practices.
- Improve productivity, efficiency, and project turnaround time.
Quality Management
- Ensure compliance with applicable IS Codes, CPWD/MoHUA guidelines, client requirements, and industry standards.
- Review project deliverables prior to submission.
- Minimise rework and improve first-time approval rates.
Client Coordination
- Serve as the operational point of contact for clients.
- Participate in progress review meetings and technical discussions.
- Ensure timely closure of client comments and coordination with stakeholders.
Commercial & Performance Management
- Track project schedules, billing milestones, and resource utilisation.
- Coordinate with Accounts for invoicing and project billing.
- Support the General Manager in monitoring project profitability.
- Prepare weekly and monthly operational MIS reports.
Team Leadership
- Guide and mentor Project Leads and technical teams.
- Foster collaboration across departments.
- Support recruitment, training, and performance development initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Master's Degree preferred).
- 8–15 years of experience in a multidisciplinary civil engineering consultancy.
- Proven experience in operations and project delivery management.
- Experience handling Government, PSU, Urban Local Body, or infrastructure consultancy projects is preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of engineering consultancy workflows.
- Excellent project planning and resource management skills.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Strong client communication and stakeholder management.
- Knowledge of project scheduling tools such as MS Project or Primavera is desirable.
- Excellent documentation, reporting, and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects under strict timelines.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
