## Job Description – Odoo Developer (.sh Migration Specialist)
We are looking for an experienced Odoo Developer with strong expertise in Odoo.sh environments, migrations, deployments, and customization. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working with Odoo.sh hosting, version upgrades, CI/CD workflows, custom module development, and production support.
### Key Responsibilities
* Handle end-to-end Odoo.sh migrations across different Odoo versions.
* Manage Odoo.sh staging, production, backup, and deployment environments.
* Perform database migration, module compatibility checks, and post-migration validation.
* Develop, customize, and maintain Odoo modules based on business requirements.
* Configure and manage Git repositories, branches, and deployment pipelines in Odoo.sh.
* Troubleshoot migration issues, server errors, dependency conflicts, and deployment failures.
* Optimize application performance and ensure system stability after migration.
* Coordinate with functional consultants and business teams for smooth rollout.
* Perform testing, bug fixing, and production support activities.
* Maintain technical documentation and migration reports.
### Required Skills
* Strong experience in Odoo development and customization.
* Hands-on expertise in Odoo.sh platform and deployments.
* Experience in Odoo version migration projects.
* Good knowledge of Python, PostgreSQL, XML, and JavaScript.
* Familiarity with Git, CI/CD workflows, and branch management.
* Understanding of Odoo ORM, APIs, security rules, and workflows.
* Experience handling third-party integrations and custom APIs.
* Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
* Knowledge of Linux server environment and shell commands.
### Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in enterprise-scale Odoo implementations.
* Exposure to Docker, Nginx, or cloud hosting environments.
* Familiarity with multi-company and multi-instance Odoo setups.
* Excellent communication and client interaction skills.
### Experience
* 3+ years of experience in Odoo development.
* Minimum 1+ years of hands-on experience in Odoo.sh migration and deployment activities.
### Nice to Have
* Experience with automated migration scripts.
* Knowledge of accounting, inventory, CRM, or HR modules in Odoo.
* Prior experience handling live production migrations with minimal downtime.
